A string of new seasons of series like "Money Heist: Korea ― Joint Economic Area," "Alchemy of Souls," and "Missing: The Other Side," are set to be released later this month.
Netflix's original series "Money Heist: Korea ― Joint Economic Area," a remake of the Spanish hit series, is rolling out Part 2 of the series, Friday, picking up the story of a group of bank robbers pulling off a heist at a mint operated by a unified Korea.
Unlike the first season, which stayed faithful to the original series, the second season will invite a new character, Seoul (Lim Ji-yeon), a member of the team led by a criminal mastermind called "The Professor" (Yoo Ji-tae).
The second seasons of the TvN series, "Alchemy of Souls" and "Missing: The Other Side," will also go on air on Dec. 10 and 19, respectively.
The fantasy romance series "Alchemy of Souls" revolved around a man from a prestigious family, Jang Uk (Lee Jae-wook). He comes across a blind woman who is possessed by a powerful sorceress who changes his destiny.
The new season will pick up three years after Jang Uk recovers from a near-death incident to chase after the sorceress.
The second season of the 2020 fantasy drama, "Missing: The Other Side," will unfold another powerful story about victims in missing person cases.
The series revolves around a handsome con artist named Kim Wook (Go Soo) who stumbles across a mysterious village where the spirits of missing dead people live. Partnering with a man in the town, Jang Pan-seok (Heo Joon-ho), Kim helps solve cases and recover their bodies in the real world for their souls to finally rest in peace.
The upcoming season will invite a new cast member, Lee Jung-eun, who will play one of the spirits living in the village.

New romance series, "The Forbidden Marriage" and "The Interest of Love," will also be coming out this month.
MBC's new romance period series, "The Forbidden Marriage," which kicks off on Friday night, is based on the webcomic of the same name. It follows King Lee Heon (Kim Young-dae) of the Joseon period, who stayed a widower for seven years after his wife's death.
One day, he meets a woman, Ye So-rang (Park Ju-hyun), who claims she can communicate with the spirit of his dead wife. The more he trusts So-rang, the bigger her lies become and the more risk he faces.
JTBC's melodrama series "The Interest of Love," starring actors Yoo Yeon-seok and Moon Ga-young, will follow four men and women who are co-workers at a bank, and the entangled romance that puts them to a test. The series is based on a novel of the same name.
