K-pop idol Goo Hara is in hospital after what appears to be a suicide attempt, police said Sunday.
She remains unconscious but her vital signs are stable, they said. The reason behind her action is not yet known.
According to police, Goo, 28, was found unconscious by her manager at her home in Gangnam, Seoul, at 12:41 a.m. Sunday. The manager said he visited her home because she did not answer phone calls.

According to reports and her fans, she briefly posted a cryptic message on her Instagram on Saturday night, stating only the word "Goodbye."
Goo has been in a legal fight with her ex-boyfriend since September, in which she has accused him of assault and blackmail, while he has accused her of assault.
Amid the dispute, Goo's agency terminated her contract in January.
