K-pop boy band ENHYPEN ― formed through Mnet's audition program I-LAND ― is set to make its official debut next month, its management agency said Wednesday.
"The seven-piece act will drop its first album 'BORDER : DAY ONE' on Nov. 30," Belift Lab said. The company said more details will soon be available on Weverse, a fan community app launched by Big Hit Entertainment, the agency of K-pop phenomenon BTS.
ENHYPEN consists of seven winners from I-LAND ― Heeseung, Jay, Sunghoon, Jake, Sunoo, Jungwon and Ni-ki.
The 12-episode competition show premiered in June and featured 23 male idol trainees who were training at Belift, a joint venture founded last March by Big Hit and Mnet's operator CJ ENM.
Big Hit's founder/chairman Bang Si-hyuk, who was general producer for the show, is in charge of producing the group's work.
The septet has already garnered more than 3 million subscribers on Weverse, the agency said. It floated trailer videos and other content earlier this month to whet the appetite of followers who have been looking forward to ENHYPEN's debut.
