R&B group 4MEN has teamed up with Singaporean artist-entrepreneur David Yong for its new ballad, “My Way.”
4MEN unveiled a special clip featuring the group members and Yong on YouTube Monday, about two weeks after the release of the collaborative single. Produced by Yoon Min-soo of R&B group Vibe, “My Way” is the soundtrack for the ongoing KBS2 TV series, “School 2021,” which stars Kim Yo-han of K-pop boy band WEi and actress Cho Yi-hyun.
In the three-minute video, 4MEN and Yong display their harmonious vocal bravura at different sites.
With “My Way,” 4MEN will set foot in the vast Southeast Asian market, where K-pop is hugely popular. Yong, CEO of Singapore-based Evergreen Assets Management, who has run businesses in numerous Southeast Asian countries, will help the singers expand their presence there. In his latest interview with The Korea Times, Yong revealed that his goal is to “further export K-pop to Southeast Asia.”
4MEN is currently made up of Haeun, Joseph and Hanbin. Last June, the trio rolled out its first digital mini-album, “The Eternal.”
