"They were discharged without having to return to their military base following their final leave, due to the COVID-19 situation," Cube said in a statement.
Hyunsik left a message to his fans on Instagram immediately after his return.
"As I promised earlier, I am back safe and sound," he said. "The moment that I have been dreaming of has finally arrived… It is difficult to write in words how I feel now."
Cube said, "We are truly grateful for the fans who have been waiting for our singers. Please continue to support them so that they can resume their musical activities."
Sungjae and Hyunsik are the last BTOB members to be discharged from military service. They debuted as part of the group in 2012 with the single, "Insane." Jinho is the first PENTAGON member to complete his military duty. PENTAGON, which made its debut with its self-titled EP in 2016, is best known for the 2018 hit, "Shine."
