Rapper Miryo of the four-member girl group Brown Eyed Girls will release her new mini-album “TRUE” next week, featuring the dreamy pop track “Yellow.”
The new release is the finale of her three-part solo single album project, “DREAMS COME TRUE,” her agency Mystic Entertainment said Wednesday.
The series started with the first release “DREAMS” in November 2017 which was followed by “COME” in February and upcoming “TRUE.”
The album's first single "Yellow" portrays the joy of meeting someone you could have only dreamed of, while the track “Gran Canaria” was inspired by her trip to Spain's Canary Islands.
She participated in composing, writing lyrics and producing all three songs in the project, demonstrating her musical abilities.
Miryo debuted as a guest rapper of hip-hop group Honey Family in 2000. She joined Brown Eyed Girls in 2006 and actively participated in rap-making for the group's songs.
She pursued a solo career after releasing her first solo album “MIRYO aka JOHONEY” in 2012 and “Queen” in 2015.
Miryo also formed M&N, a sub-unit of Brown Eyed Girls with its member Narsha, and released the mini-album “Tonight” in 2013.
She appeared on season 3 of Mnet's rap competition program “Unpretty Rapstar” in 2016 as a contestant. Recently, she has been making appearances through her own channels on YouTube and Twitch to communicate with her fans.
