The 99th episode of tvN's variety show, "You Quiz on the Block," featuring K-pop titan BTS, set its highest rating on Wednesday.

It garnered a 6.74 percent viewership rating nationwide, with 8.21 percent in the Seoul metropolitan area, according to Nielsen Korea. This is the highest record for the program since its premiere in 2018.

Producer Kim Min-seok said in a statement Thursday, "While editing the episode, we could see why fans from around the globe have fallen under the spell of BTS."

All seven members ― RM, Jin, Suga, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook ― appeared as guests and shared their in-depth stories about their past, present and future with the two comedian hosts, Yoo Jae-suk and Jo Se-ho.

Despite their enormous global success, the members said they often feel burdened by the weight. The septet is the first K-pop act that earned a Grammy nomination and topped the Billboard 100 songs chart with its mega-hit, "Dynamite" (2020).

"Nothing lasts forever ― Suga once said he wanted to make a safe landing in the end instead of crashing, and that hit home for me," j-hope said.

Suga elaborated, "I hope we can perform on stage until our very last moment … This, I think, is our safe landing for everyone who supports us."

BTS did not succeed in winning the Grammy, but member V said he was now even more motivated.

"This actually has become a driving force for me to try even harder," V said.

"You Quiz on the Block" airs at 8:40 p.m. every Wednesday (KST).
