JTBC's upcoming thriller series "Beyond Evil," starring actors Shin Ha-kyun and Yeo Jin-goo, has unveiled its teaser posters.
The posters, released by the network Tuesday, show close-up shots of each actor with the phrase "Am I the monster or are you?" over Shin's face and "Are we monsters?" on Yeo's face.
Written by Kim Soo-jin, who wrote the thriller series "Mad Dog," the series will revolve around two detectives trying to discover the truth behind an unsolved serial murder case in a small town. It is directed by Shim Na-yeon whose work includes the teen series "At Eighteen."
Shin will play rowdy sergeant Lee Dong-sik who was repositioned at a countryside police precinct in a place called Manyang. While working there, he encounters a murder case from 20 years ago that changed his life.
Yeo will play elite detective Han Joo-won. He gets transferred to the precinct and teams up with Dong-sik to hunt down the truth among the small-town neighbors.
"The synergy of the two skilled actors will show viewers the essence of a psychological thriller series," the network said.
"Beyond Evil" is set to air in February.
