K-pop girl group Everglow's Yiren and Si-hyeon have tested positive for COVID-19, their agency Yuehua Entertainment said Tuesday.

The agency shared the news on the group's fan website, saying the two members received results that day while the other four ― E:U, Mia, Onda, and Aisha ― tested negative.

"Yiren recently learned that her friend has been infected, so she reported herself to the health authority and had a test," it said. "As all the members were living together, the others also were tested."

News of the artists' infection raised concerns in the music industry as the group was filmed for an episode of KBS's music talk show "Yoo Hee-yeol's Sketchbook" on Nov. 24, just two days after Yiren reportedly came in contact with her friend.

The show's host Yoo and other singers who starred in that day's recording ― Gummy, Teen Top, Kim Hyun-chul and Joo Hyun-mi ― had tests and are awaiting the results.

C-JeS Entertainment, Gummy's agency, said she "briefly talked with Everglow members before getting on the stage, so she went to get tested and is waiting for the result."
