K-pop girl band Momoland's member Nancy canceled her performance on MBC's music show "Show! Music Core" Saturday after taking a coronavirus test.

The group's agency MLD Entertainment said in a statement that the singer had been tested for COVID-19 after she learned she had possibly come in contact with a patient.

But on Sunday, the agency said the test was negative and she would resume her activities with other group members from Monday. The agency noted that health authorities did not require her to self-quarantine after checking her movements over the past few days.

"We've confirmed that Nancy has not come in contact with the patient and will continue the group's schedule," it said.

To promote its latest album "Ready Or Not," released on Nov. 17, Momoland has appeared on various music shows.

Nancy debuted as a member of the six-member group with a mini-album "Welcome to MOMOLAND" in 2016. Momoland has released several hits, including "BBoom BBoom" (2018) and "Thumbs Up" (2019).

She is also known for her roles in popular TV shows such as "Pops in Seoul" and "Law of the Jungle."
