The U.N.-Habitat Korean National Committee has named 32 foreigners as its global ambassadors.

Christian Burgos (Mexico,) Terris Brown (U.S.,) Sorensen Joakim Bjorn (Sweden,) Elody Stanislas (France,) Cameron Lee Word (U.S.) and Fujimoto Saori (Japan) are among the new ambassadors.

The appointment ceremony took place on World Youth Day ― Aug. 12 ― at the National Assembly building in Yeouido, Seoul.

All of the ambassadors are represented by FMG Entertainment, an agency for foreign talent here.

"The ambassadors will share the vision and values of the U.N.-Habitat with young people around the world through diverse promotional activities," an FMG official said, Friday.

U.N.-Habitat, with headquarters in Kenya, is a member of the United Nations Development Group. It works for a better urban future, collaborating with partners to build safe and sustainable cities and communities.
