K-pop star Kang Daniel will release his second mini-album “MAGENTA” on August 3, his record label Konnect Entertainment said Monday.

Konnect unveiled a teaser video on the singer's official Twitter, Sunday. The clip features a Venn diagram that eventually transforms its color from cyan to magenta.

“CYAN” is the name of his first mini-album dropped on March 24. It marked the beginning of his trilogy “COLOR,” through which the star aims to discover his own color.

“Kang is in the final stage of the album preparation,” Konnect said in a statement. “The upcoming release revolves around summer.”

Kang won the second season of Mnet's audition program "Produce 101" in 2017 and joined Wanna One. Following the 11-piece act's disbandment in 2018, he made his solo debut last year with the EP “Color on Me.”
