K-pop boy band NCT 127 is the new face of Nature Republic, the cosmetic brand said Monday.
"We picked the group as a fresh model because its energy and friendliness match well with our brand image," a company official said. "Nature Republic believes we can create synergy with NCT 127, as both of us share the same spirit of challenge."
The brand will release a video of the 10-piece act promoting the company's new sun block later this month. Nature Republic is also set to organize diverse promotional activities to interact with international consumers.
Before NCT 127, K-pop titan EXO represented the brand for six years since 2013.
NCT 127 ― comprising Taeil, Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Winwin, Mark, Haechan and Jungwoo ― debuted in 2016 with the album "NCT #127."
The group released its second studio album "NCT #127 Neo Zone," fronted by lead track "Kick It" on Mar. 6.
