“Dua Lipa first offered Hwasa to work together,” Warner Music Korea said in a statement. “The pair met last December at Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) in Japan.”

Back then, Hwasa covered Dua Lipa's hit “New Rules” (2017) and the English artist performed her number “Don't Start Now” (2019).

“Physical” is a retro-flavored dance track with a synthesizer sound. It is a B-side song of Dua Lipa's upcoming release “Future Nostalgia,” which will be released on April 3.

“The two singers' voices created a perfect harmony,” Warner music said.

Hwasa, whose real name is Ahn Hye-jin, debuted as a sub-vocalist and lead rapper of the four-member group MAMAMOO in 2014.

Dua Lipa, who debuted in 2015, has released a string of hits such as “IDGAF” (2017).
