Prof. Robert Kelly and his family members made thousands of people laugh around the world.
When Kelly, a South Korean resident, was doing an interview with BBC News about former South Korean President Park Geun-hye on Mar. 10, his daughter Marion, 4, and son James, nine months, entered the room innocently, confounding their father being streamed live worldwide. Their mother Kim Jung-a later stormed in and took them out of the room. The children and their parents' reactions created an international sensation that resulted in many memes and parody videos.
The world-famous family will return to the public again through a Korean TV variety show. Kelly's family will star in the KBS parenting show "The Return of Superman," according to the program's website.
In the episode, Kelly's family invite Sam Hammington, an Australian comedian active in Korea and a regular guest on the show, to their house in Busan.
The pair became Facebook friends after the viral BBC interview.
KBS officials said Marion and James mesmerized broadcasting staffs throughout the filming day.
The episode will be aired on May 28.
