German exports to the United States plunged in 2025 as a consequence of President Donald Trump's aggressive tariff policies, official data showed on Tuesday, amid concerns that the dispute over Greenland could lead to further trade barriers.
The Federal Statistical Office said German goods worth 135.8 billion euros ($159.3 billion) were exported to the U.S. over the first 11 months of last year, down 9.4 percent compared to the same period in 2024.
