Two fishermen catch huge great white shark

Two South Carolina fishermen have caught a 1.1-ton great white shark.
The shark, now named “Wildcat,” was hooked at around 3 p.m. on Mar. 9. The fishermen said online that it took them more than four hours and help from another fishing boat to reel in the enormous shark.
“It's enormous. It looked like a bus being dropped in off a cliff when it came out of the water the first time,” said fisherman Chip Michalove.
However, the fishermen were not out for blood they simply tagged the great white and set it free.
Michalove said that he had spent more than 12 years studying the migration, food sources and patterns of sharks. He now tags sharks for the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries.
“Nothing illegal was done and the shark is going to give us great data,” Michalove said.
