Kurdish fighters blast IS suicide car

Kurdish fighters have blown up an ISIS suicide-bomb car with a missile, video they released shows.

The footage is believed to have been shot in Al-Shadadi, Hasakeh Province.

Kurdish forces, with the help of U.S. air strikes, recently liberated the town.

The video shows the battered car speeding along a road as Kurdish fighters pepper it with gunfire.

Realizing that is not enough, the fighters fire a missile. It blows up the car, sending it into a pile of black smoke and flames.

The weapon that destroyed the car is believed to have been a FGM-148 Javelin, an American anti-tank missile.
