Police brutality victim dead in cell
Sarah Reed, 32, a victim of British police brutality has been found dead in her prison cell.
Police officer James Kiddie punched Reed three times and dragged her by her hair after she was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at a Uniqlo store in London.
A video recording of the incident was shown in court after a fellow police officer reported what had happened.
Kiddie, who was found guilty, was fined 500 pounds and ordered to do a year of community service. He was also dismissed from the police force.
Kiddie appealed, claiming Reed had bitten him after telling him she had AIDs.
The judge rejected the appeal and testimony after it was revealed that Kiddie had tried to persuade a witness to collaborate his claims.
