Alligator brawl sinks golfers' game

Some Florida golfers faced more than birdies, eagles and albatrosses during a recent game. They encountered two huge alligators wrestling on the course.

Lynn Sarels and her friends were playing a round at the Myakka Pines golf course in Florida on Saturday when they came across the alligators’ vicious fight on the fourth hole.

Sarels photographed the battle between the 12-foot “Goliath” and a smaller alligator.

“They were rolling around, biting each other, flipping each other,” Sarels said. “It was amazing.”

Sarels’ snaps were shared on the golf course’s Facebook page.

Meanwhile, the wrestling continued for about 10 minutes before the alligators limped back into their pond.
