Huge fish shocks Japanese fisherman

Fisherman Hirasaka Hiroshi got the surprise of his life when he caught a large wolffish in waters off Hokkaido, Japan.

He uploaded a picture of his two-meter catch to Twitter. In the picture, Hiroshi grimaces at the fish while struggling to hold it aloft. Its mouth seems large enough to swallow a small child.

The fish’s length and fearsome appearance sparked a storm of interest on the Internet.

Many people said they were astonished at its size, because an average wolffish measures 1.2 meters.
