Disney theme parks in the United States have banned selfie sticks on rides.
The Orlando Sentinel reported that Walt Disney World had posted a "No Selfie Stick" sign in front of its trademark ride, Magic Kingdom's Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
A Disney spokeswoman said selfie sticks were not banned completely from the parks, but they were not allowed to be used on rides.
Disney employees were recently told to emphasize the policy to park visitors.
This comes after rides were halted over safety because visitors were using selfie sticks.
The ban also applies to the theme park in California for rides Space Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain.
Disney said in an email, "The signs are just a continuation of our communication efforts at a few key attractions."
