Police have arrested a man after he was filmed punching a toddler in the face in a California shopping mall.
CCTV footage shows Justin Whittington, believed to be the father, grabbing the boy by the leg and hitting him in the face.
The boy then runs toward a pregnant woman, believed to be his mother, who. brings him out of the mall.
The boy was not seriously injured.
After the video went viral online, police tracked arrested Whittington on Friday, and charged him with child endangerment.
Whittington, 23, was to appear in court on Monday.
A shop owner, Harry Dindral, said the incident was the worst thing he had seen.
