'Joyride' policeman thrown head-first on to road

A policeman crashed head-first on to a road recently after what appeared to be a “joyride” on a patrol car’s hood.
A short video from the New York Daily News on Monday shows the uniformed policeman lying on the hood of the moving car as it drives through Brooklyn. The car stops suddenly, flinging the policeman head-first onto the road.
The footage shows a policeman sitting behind the steering wheel while another officer helps the injured man.
The officer, whose is not named, was taken to Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn with head injuries, the report said.
It remains unclear why the policeman was lying on the hood.
