103-year-old man makes his eighth hole-in-one

A 103-year-old man in South Florida set a new record Wednesday becoming the oldest PGA member to make a hole-in-one, and it was not his first ace, but rather his eighth.

Gus Andreone got his latest on a 113-yard hole at Palm Aire Country Club using a driver.

Andreone made his first hole-in-one 75 years ago, when he was 28. His most recent came sometime during the 1990s.

Before Andreone’s most recent good fortune, 102 year-old Elsie McLean was the record-holder, making her hole-in-one in 2007.

Andreone plays golf three times a week with friends.
