A murder investigation has been launched in Mississippi after a 19-year-old woman had lighter fluid poured down her throat and was burned alive.
Family members said Jessica Chambers on Saturday used her last words to describe her killer to paramedics, reports said.
Action News 5 reported Friday that the investigation was ongoing, and that no arrests had been made.
Reports said Chambers was beaten, and that she was seen walking down the road on fire.
“She told them, she told them, told him who done it,” Ben Chambers, the woman’s father, told WDBD-TV.
Chambers was flown to a hospital unit in Memphis but died. An examination showed that she died of severe burns, which covered 98 percent of her body.
