Mariah Carey hits a sour note again

After her lackluster performance at Jamsil Olympic Stadium in October ― which some local news outlets said was “as humiliating as her weight” ― former American pop diva Mariah Carey showed at a New York Christmas event that she is far from the singer she once was.
At NBC’s “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” on Wednesday, Carey, 44, sang “All I Want for Christmas is You.”
But as a video footage of her performance shows, Carey, wearing a red plunging gown, has not improved. Not only did she often fail to hit her signature high notes, her overall voice was so unsteady that it left the audience and other viewers uncomfortable.
One local news outlet on Friday called the performance “cringeworthy.”
