Thousands of rabbis gathered for a group selfie at a conference in New York last weekend, with the help of an elongated “selfie stick.”
The photo, taken at the International Conference of Chabad-Lubavitch Emissaries on Sunday, shows some 2,000 men who attended to the conference.
This year, a few tech-savvy rabbis added a modern touch to the group portrait, by using the customized selfie stick.
The selfie stick was made out of an extended Nodal Ninja boom, with a Canon EOS 5D Mark 3 DSLR Camera attached. They used the help of local photographer Chaim Perl, and used Twitter and Whatsapp to coordinate.
“We are really one big family,” said Rabbi Levi Sionim. “Who better to be with, for what might be a world-record-setting group selfie?”
