A 100-year-old woman in New York made headlines by skydiving, thumbing her nose at death, USA Today said Monday.
Eleanor Cunningham made the jump with Saratoga Skydiving in Gansevoort. The report said she had been approved by a doctor to make the jump.
According to Cunningham’s granddaughter, the elderly woman said she was going to “either land alive or dead, one way or the other.”
A thrill-seeker, Cunningham started skiing in her 50s, golfing in her 70s and skydiving in her 90s. The latest jump was her third stunt, the newspaper said.
