Woman stripped half-naked and beaten in Chinese street

A shocking video clip shows a Chinese woman stripped half-naked and beaten in the street by a group of women wearing high-heels in Jinan city, Eastern China.

At least three female attackers in the video repeatedly kicked and punched the woman, while shouting and lashing out at her.

At one point, the victim exposed her breasts after futile efforts to get up from the ground to defend herself. But the assailants grabbed her hair and pulled her back down to the ground.

They accused the woman of being a marriage-breaker, arguing she should be punished and humiliated for her alleged adultery.

Passers-by in the area either turned their back or watched the brutal scene unfold in front of their eyes.

It is not clear what happened to the victim after the attack.

Public humiliation is becoming widespread in some parts of China in which affairs are usually kept secret, but emotions sometimes surface, leading to such violence.
