Hotel fires employee who leaked video of Solange-Jay Z fight

New York’s Standard Hotel fired the employee who released a security footage that appears to show Solange Knowles, sister of pop mega star Beyonce, assaulting her brother-in-law, Jay Z, in the hotel’s elevator after the Met Gala.
The internet erupted after the video was published by celebrity gossip site TMZ earlier this week.
The Standard Hotel said the person had been terminated for "breaching the security policies of the hotel and recording the confidential CCTV video,’’ according to a report by the Associated Press.
Representatives for Jay Z, Beyonce and Solange have yet to comment on the video.
