A bartender in Chicago is offering “pig’s blood cocktails” to people.
Nandini Khaund, the bartender behind a cocktail application and owner of a cocktail blog, mixed up what she named “Reign in Blood” cocktail as part of the Chicago Reader’s Cocktail Challenge series, the Chicago Reader reported.
This cocktail features pig’s blood as the key ingredient.
“At first it just tasted like blood,” Khaund said. “By the end, it just tasted like this iron death. My heart was racing,” she added.
As part of the cocktail challenge, Khaund had to make a cocktail using a secret ingredient of her choice. Past challenge ingredients include Catnip, Cheez whiz and Madras curry powder.
Khaund has even provided the online recipe for those who want to try the Reign in Blood themselves.
