World's longest table at…. 335 meters

Can you imagine a desk that is the length of three and a half soccer fields? Well, you don’t have to imagine it since it is very real and installed in a marketing company in New York City.

According to the Career Advisor Daily, what is believed to be the world’s longest desk ― measuring no less than 335 meters ― has been designed by an architecture company based in Los Angeles.

Identity withheld for business purposes, the firm installed the desk in a space measuring 410 square meters, making it much more than just a piece of furniture.

Designed to accommodate 175 working persons simultaneously, the desk is more like a form of architecture, one of the designers said.

The basic concept of the desk if work and play and provides various functions that provides relaxation with the tunnel through the structure acting as a humongous book shelf.

“We approached the project with a different concept, one which can bring all of the staff of 125 together to not only work but engage in recreation,” the designer said.

“The singular desk means there is no discretion among the staff, be the person be the CEO of someone on his first day at work,” he added.
