British woman sentenced after helping 2 sons, husband rape

A-51-year-old British woman, Deborah Babic, has been sentenced to five years for threatening victims raped by her husband and two sons, the Daily Mail reported.
The woman’s husband, Milan Babic had committed countless sex crimes over 30 years. He even got his two sons involved in the crimes.
Deborah Babic intimidated victims not to testify against her husband or otherwise she would slit their throats. She had made the call with Kirsty Bryan who also lived with the family. On the other hand, she offered gifts to other victims to cover her husband’s evil behavior.
Judge David Fletcher said her actions were “calculated to take advantage of her victims’ personalities.”
Although Bryan pleaded guilty, Deborah Babic protested her innocence. However, she was jailed on Monday after she was found guilty.
Milan Babic was jailed for life on 22 counts of rape, four attempted rapes, 13 indecent assaults and one sexual assault. His 23-year-old son was jailed for eight years after he was convicted of two rapes and one attempted rape. Also his 17-year-old son was jailed for three years on a charge of a rape.
Detective Sergeant Steve Chadwick said,” I would like to praise the courage and integrity of the victims who gave evidence on what were difficult and sensitive matters. Persons who attempt to intimidate witnesses or interfere with the administration of justice will be dealt with robustly and swiftly.”
