London world's most expensive city; Seoul only 37th

People who live in Korea complain about the high cost of living but as it turns out, even Seoul is nowhere close to being the world’s most expensive city.

According to a report by expatistan.com, London takes the cake in being the world’s most frightening city in terms of prices, followed by Oslo of Norway and Geneva and Zurich, both in Switzerland.

The results were based on comparative studies of prices in 1,600 cities around the world with New York City coming in fifth and Seoul a distant 37th.

Within Asia, Singapore proved to be the costliest, followed by Hong Kong, Tokyo and Seoul.

Viewers of the study results were unison in saying that they thought that Tokyo or Hong Kong would have ranked the highest in Asia while adding that Seoul being fourth still means it is very costly to live in Seoul.

On the other hand, some bloggers said they would like to travel to Geneva and Zurich even if they are among the most expensive cities in the world.
