Chinese government’s rescue effort towards Sichuan earthquake is going beyond its limit, reported Chinese state media Monday.
Police usually deem rescue possibilities remote after 72 hours.
Even though it has been over three days, the Chinese government said that they will keep on searching for survivors.
“There is just no Maginot line when it comes to rescue mission,” said one official who is in charge on the scene.
More than 19,000 military forces, armed guards, and firemen are all on the job, according to the media report.
Providing the people with bare essentials are on top priority, it said.
Water, food, tent, blanket, and pills are all being delivered, the report added.
The rescue team focuses on reconstructing the destroyed roads as people’s lives depend on those aids.
