Snake dies after biting model’s breast

After biting a model’s breast during a photo shoot, a snake later died from silicone poisoning.

Earlier this month, Israeli model and actress Orit Fox was bit by a large boa constrictor while filming for a TV show in Tel Aviv, the British Daily Mail reported Monday.

When she loosened her grip on its neck after licking the snake’s face, the reptile reacted angrily and sunk its teeth deep into her left breast.

Luckily for her, it had bit her breast implants so there was no permanent damage.

She was fine after being rushed to a nearby hospital and given a tetanus shot.

However, the snake wasn’t so lucky and died from silicone poisoning.

모델 가슴 문 뱀 ‘실리콘 중독’으로 죽어

얼마 전 화보촬영중인 모델의 가슴을 공격해 아찔한 상황을 연출했던 뱀이 실리콘 중독으로 죽은 사실이 뒤늦게 화제가 되고 있다.

영국 일간지 데일리메일의 14일자 보도에 따르면 이 달 초 이스라엘 출신 배우 겸 모델인 오리트 폭스는 TV 프로그램 촬영 중 대형 보아뱀에 가슴을 물리는 사고를 당했다.

폭스가 뱀의 머리를 붙잡고 얼굴 가까이 가져간 뒤 혀를 내밀며 약을 올렸는데, 낯선 상황에 흥분한 뱀이 폭스의 가슴부분을 급습한 것.

폭스와 제작진은 순간 당황했지만 다행히 폭스의 가슴에 실리콘 보형물이 삽입된 덕에 큰 부상은 피할 수 있었다.

하지만 실리콘 보형물을 물었던 보아뱀은 무사하지 못했다. 폭스는 사고 직후 병원에서 파상풍 주사를 맞고 큰 탈이 없었지만, 보아뱀은 실리콘에 중독돼 결국 죽은 것.

폭스는 수차례 가슴 성형수술을 받아 ‘중동에서 가장 큰 가슴을 가진 모델’이라는 별명을 가졌으며, 당시 뱀에게 하필 가슴을 공격당해 더욱 이슈가 됐다.

한편 가슴성형수술에 애용되는 실리콘은 다량의 백금 성분을 함유하고 있어 피부염과 천식, 뇌효소 억제 등의 부작용을 일으킬 수 있다는 연구결과가 발표된 바 있다.
