According to the local news report on Sunday, the two drove out of their patrol area to the city outskirts to make love.

Their secret date was caught by the voice indentifying device installed in all patrol cars for the police’s safety.

Even if the radio is turned off, the police headquarters can hear the conversation in the cars.

When the patrol car strayed from its district, the headquarters turned on the voice identifying device only to hear the couple making out.

The headquarters recorded the sound then reported it to the superior office. The officers were suspended immediately.

The local media reported that even if they get their jobs back, they would not work in the same station again.

시스템을 켜면 무전장치가 꺼져 있어도 차 안에서 나누는 대화를 통제본부에서 엿들을 수 있다.

멘도사 경찰통제본부는 이날 순찰차가 순찰구역을 벗어나자 즉시 음성확인시스템을 가동했다. 전원을 올리고 귀를 기울인 통제본부 직원들은 후끈 낯이 달아올랐다. 차 안으로부터 뜨겁게 사랑을 나누는 소리가 들려온 것.

통제본부는 흘러나오는 소리를 녹음, 증거를 확보하고 상부에 보고했다. 두 사람에겐 즉시 직위해제조치가 내려졌다.

현지 언론은 “두 사람이 용서를 받더라도 앞으로 같은 경찰서에서 근무하지 못할 것 같다.”고 보도했다.
