Controversy rises over see-through look of Chinese TV announcers

Recently, a Chinese TV news hostess was dressed in a see-through look, a fashion style that allows the wearer's body or undergarment ­ if any ­ to be seen through its fabric, when hosting a news program, inviting criticism from local netizens.

Onbao.com quoted Chinese newspaper ‘Hwanqiuwang’ Monday that Ouyang XiaDan, 35, wore a se-through look of a white shirt and black underwear on live CCTV news.

It is reported that this CCTV news program footage has been removed from the site but netizens are still spreading the pictures. Some say that it is not proper for announcers to dress like this, while others were awed by her beauty.

This is not the first time for such ‘controversial looks’ on Chinese TV. Terence Lee Meng also wore a see-through look in October, 2009, on CCTV, while Hong Kong news anchor Zhou Jiayi also wore a pink unlined jacket that showed her underwear that year.

中 미녀 아나운서 '시스루 룩' 논란

중국의 한 미녀 아나운서가 방송에서 속옷이 훤히 비치는 옷을 입고 나와 네티즌들의 비난을 사고 있다.

중국 뉴스 소식지 '온바오닷컴'은 '환추왕'의 24일 보도를 인용 "중국 중앙방송(CCTV)의 미녀 아나운서인 어우양샤단(35)이 최근 진행한 뉴스 프로그램 생방송에서 '시스루 룩'을 입고 방송을 진행했다"고 보도했다. 이날 그녀는 하얀색 티셔츠에 정장을 입고 방송에 나섰는데 문제는 그녀의 '검은색 속옷'이 훤히 비쳐 의도적 노출이란 비난을 샀다는 것이다.

이미 장면은 웹사이트에서 삭제되었지만, 일부 네티즌들은 방송 사진을 캡쳐해 인터넷에 공개하면서 "아나운서의 품행이 단정치 못하다" "속옷을 보여주기로 작정한 듯하다" 등 그녀의 의상에 대한 비난을 퍼부었다.

반면, 일부 네티즌은 "은근한 섹시미를 보여줬다"며 그녀의 아름다움에 대한 찬사를 보내기도 했다는 후문이다.

중국에서 이러한 시스루룩 논란은 이번이 처음이 아니다. 지난 2009년 홍콩의 미녀 캐스터 저우자이(周嘉?)가 진행하던 뉴스 프로그램서 속옷이 훤히 비치는 분홍색 적삼을 입어 논란을 불러 일으켰으며, CCTV 채널의 오후 뉴스 프로그램을 진행하던 리즈멍(李梓萌)도 '시스루룩'을 선보인바 있다.
