N. Korean “beauty” found to be Japanese

The English China Daily reported Thursday that an attractive woman it introduced as a North Korean soldier the previous day was actually a Japanese model.

China introduced her as Kim Ok-hee, 19-year-old first lieutenant from North Korea. But netizens immediately raised doubt about her nationality, claiming that she did not look North Korean. They said that North Korea would not allow the pictures taken of her to be published especially if she was a military officer.

The fuss was resolved by netizens, one of whom disclosed the website where the photographs were lifted from so that anyone could identify her.

She is Nakashima Maari, a Gravia model in Japan, according to the website. If people search using "Maari," she is easily found, the netizen said.

북한 얼짱 일본인으로 밝혀져

중국은 그녀를 19살 북한인민군 중위인 김옥희라고 밝혔지만 네티즌들은 그녀가 '북한인 같이안생겼다,' '북한이 인민군 소속인 사람을 저렇게 사진찍에 내버려 둘 리가 없다' 는 의혹을 제기했다.

이 논란도 네티즌들에 의해 풀렸다. 한 네티즌이 그녀 사진을 어디선가 봤다며 그녀의 정보가 있는 사이트를 발견, 유포했다.

그녀는 일본 그라비아 모델인 나카시마 마아리 이다. 만약 마아리로 검색하면 그녀에 대한 사진을 쉽게 찾을수있다.
