Flying car on sale next year

Flying cars will be on sale next year in the U.S., ABC reported.

The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration eased the standard of maximum weight of flying car, which MIT graduates invented, so that they may get approval as light aircraft. The car is named "Transition."

The price of this flying car is $194,000. Even though it is priced high, some 70 people have already placed orders for the car.

The flying car's wings fold and unfold automatically. With wings unfolded, it can fly 740 km at 185km per hour. If wings are folded, it can drive on the highway just like a car.

It will use non-lead gasoline, not jet oil. It is also heavier than general light aircraft because it has to be installed with air bags and other safety equipment just like car.

나는 자동차가 내년 미국에서 판매가 된다고 ABC 방송이 보도했다.

미국 연방항공청은 MIT 졸업생들이 만든 트랜지션이라는 나는 자동차를 경비행기 형식승인을 받을 수 있도록 최대 중량 기준을 완화했다.

트랜지션의 가격은 19만 4000달러 (약 2억 4000만원) 이다. 높은 가격에도 불구하고 70여명이나 벌써 예약을 했다.

나는 자동차의 날개는 자동으로 접었다 폈다 해지며 날개를 폈을 때 시속 185km 로 740km 날아갈 수 있고 날개를 접을 때 보통 자동차처럼 고속도로를 달릴 수 있다.

연료도 항공유를 쓰지않고 무연 휘발유를 사용한다. 일반 자동차 처럼 에어백과 다른 안전 장치를 달아야 하기 때문에 보통 경비행기보다는 좀 무겁다.
