Student’s kiss to those picking up trash

A university girl in China has campaigned that if someone picks up trash, she will kiss them.

In Sichuan, Li Xiaohua who is a junior, held a sign of the campaign.

"When I walk on the street with my friends, I could not understand why people throw trash or cigarette butts on the street," Li said. "So, I started this campaign. It is hard to kiss strangers, but I will get used to it."

She has been doing this event for two hours and there were a mid-age gentleman, a young man with girlfriend, and a married woman.

A traveler from Singapore said he was surprised that the Chinese university girl thought about unusual idea to protect the environment.

She is reported to have kissed more than 10 people.

"We know we have to protect our environment but it is hard to practice it," Li said, after the campaign. "I will protect it in a more unconventional way."

쓰레기 주우면 키스

중국의 한 여대생이 쓰레기를 주우면 키스를 해준다는 캠페인을 벌였다.

쓰촨성에 리샤오허라는 대학교 3학년생은 누구나 쓰레기를 줍는다면 키스를 해주겠다는 팻말로 홍보했다.

리는 "친구들과 거리를 걸을 때마다 쓰레기나 담배꽁초를 길거리에 버리는게 이해가 안되 이 이벤트를 시작했다. 모르는 사람에게 키스 하는 것이 어색하지만 점점 익숙해 질것이다" 고 말했다.

2시간 동안 진행된 이벤트에는 중년신사도 있었고, 여자친구가 있는 남자, 결혼한 여자도 있었다.

싱가포르에서 온 한 여행객은 중국여성이 환경을 지키기 위해 독특한 이벤트를 열은 것이 신기하다고 말했다.

10명 이상에게 키스한 리는 떠나면서 "환경을 지켜야 한다는 것은 우리가 모두 잘 알지만 그것을 실천하기는 힘들다. 나는 더 색다른 이벤트로 환경을 지킬 것이다" 고 말했다.
