Japanese ’Romantic Porns’ land in Korea

Korean movie-goers will be able to see two Japanese porno films in cinemas from June 24.

Film importer Doki Entertainment said Monday that the two Japanese erotic movies are ready to be screened as it passed the censorship from the Korea Media Rating Board without cutting.

The two pornos are "Any and Every Which Way"(2010) by director Matsumoso Shohichiro and "Apartment Wife Affair in the Afternoon" (1971) by director Shun Nakahara.

The Romantic pornos is less pornographic, which boomed from 1970s to 80s in Japan.

Once the genre occupied 40 percent of the Japanese cinema market, but it declined dramatically after more sensational Adult Videos (AV) and the Internet spread in early 1990s. However, some of the Roman pornos have now gained attention again in Japan as remakes hit the market in a series.

"These films may not be as sensational as today's real pornos. They do not appeal only to eyes and ears. Rather, it stimulates watchers' imagination and fantasy through various stories on different settings. We hope that resurrected roman pornos will refresh Koreans' minds," said one manager of Dokki Entermainment.

일본의 로망 포르노 '단지처, 오후의 정사'와 '뒤에서 앞에서'가 24일 국내 개봉한다.

7일 수입사 도키엔터테인먼트에 따르면, '단지처, 오후의 정사'와 '뒤에서 앞에서'<사진> 등 두 편이 무삭제로 심의를 통과했다.

로망포르노는 1960년대 일본 영화산업이 쇠퇴기로 접어들면서 상업적인 오락영화가 절정을 이루는 가운데 나타난 장르다.

1971~88년 1133편의 영화가 제작돼 현지 영화시장의 40％를 차지하기도 했다. 하지만 90년대 들어 성인비디오의 대량생산, 인터넷 보급 등으로 퇴조했다.

수입사는 "로망포르노가 표현하는 다양한 스토리 속의 에로가 현재의 성인포르노 작품에 미치지 못할지 모르지만, 시각과 청각에만 호소하는 에로가 아닌 상상력을 자극하는 에로스를 제공한다"고 설명했다.
