Gunfire at Lost star’s LA home

Police confirmed that they are investigating an attempted burglary last Friday morning in a Los Angeles suburb neighbor home belonging to Malcolm David Kelly, aka Walt, one of the stars of ABC's television series Lost.

A spokesman for the L.A. County Sheriff's Department said that it was investigating a burglary call that ended with an involved shooting. A suspect being taken into custody and no injuries were reported.

"Malcolm and his family are currently working with law enforcement as they investigate the frightening chain of events that occurred at their residence earlier today," Kelley's rep, Dominic Friesen, tells E! News.

Kelley, 17-year-old actor, was at home and called 911 when he heard a noise. Police officers fired at least one shot when the suspect tried to flee.

"Although understandably shaken, Malcolm is safe and uninjured, and truly appreciates the overwhelming support received from fans."

현지 경찰에 따르면 지난 금요일 아침 LA 근교의 켈리 소유의 주택에서 용의자들이 무단침입을 시도했으며 집에 있던 켈리 (17)가 911에 신고해 출동했다고 밝혔다. 검거 과정에서 용의자들이 도주함에 따라 총성이 오갔으며 부상자는 없다고 전했다.

켈리의 대변인 도미닉 프리슨은 "말콤과 그의 가족들이 성실하게 경찰의 조사에 협조하고있다"며 "무서운 일이지만, 일단 말콤과 가족이 무사하고 다치지않아 다행으로 생각하며 팬들의 성원에 감사하다"고 밝혔다.
