Kim Jong-il, First On a Plane

North Korea's leader Kim Jong-il who reportedly only rides trains had once on a plane 45 years ago with his father, Kim Il-sung, when they visited Indonesia.

It is well known fact that Kim is not taking an airplane which is exposed to high chance of terror attack. Besides there are no suitable planes because Russian and Chinese planes are not approved of those safety and security, and taking an American flight is the last thing for him to get on.

As a flight is more exposed to terrorism, he is taking a train for safety. However, this is not that simple either. The train itself is armed to the teeth, and six trains that look exactly same go on the rail at the same time as a smokescreen strategy. It is reported that all the genius mathematics researchers in North Korea concentrate on calculating possibilities to spread these six trains on different rails to lower the risk of terror attack.

Additionally, at least he needs three planes to lower the chance of attack, but the price is too expensive to buy all of them. To sum up, Kim is rather riding trains than airplanes because of the risk of terrorism and the financial issue.

이렇게 비행기는 테러 공격에 더 노출돼 있기 때문에 안전을 위해 기차를 택하기는 하지만 그렇다고 이게 간단한 것은 아니다. 기차는 완전무장을 하고, 연막 작전을 위해 똑같이 생긴 여섯 개의 기차를 동시에 운행한다. 북한의 천재적 수학 연구원들은 이 여섯 개의 기차를 배치하는 확률을 계산하는데 몰두하고 있는 것으로 알려졌다.

또한 테러범들을 혼란 시키기 위해서는 적어도 3대의 비행기가 필요한데, 그렇게 구입하기에는 가격이 만만치 않다. 결국 김정일이 비행기를 타지 않는 이유는 테러의 위험과 돈 문제인 셈이다.
