Lee Jung-hoo of the San Francisco Giants recorded his second career four-hit game in a road win.

Lee batted 4-for-5 with an RBI and two runs scored, helping the Giants beat the St. Louis Cardinals 8-2 at Busch Stadium in St. Louis on Friday (local time).

Lee, who is now batting .267 with a .744 on-base plus slugging, had his first four-hit effort on Aug. 3 against the New York Mets.

The South Korean center fielder has hit safely in all three games in September, with seven hits in 11 at-bats.

Batting sixth, Lee flied out to center in the top of the first inning, and then picked up four hits in his next four trips to the plate.

He led off the fourth inning with a single to spark a four-run rally. After a single in the fifth, Lee hit his 11th triple of the season in the seventh. He is now alone in second place in the National League in that category, behind only Corbin Carroll of the Arizona Diamondbacks with 16 triples.

Lee completed his four-hit night with an infield single to shortstop Masyn Winn.

Elsewhere in the majors Friday, Kim Ha-seong of the Atlanta Braves hit a sacrifice fly in his home debut, helping the Braves to a 4-1 win over the Seattle Mariners at Truist Park in Atlanta.

Kim, who was claimed off the waivers by the Braves from the Tampa Bay Rays on Monday, knocked in the game's first run with a sac fly to center field in the bottom of the first.

Kim had a flyout and a couple of strikeouts in his next three at-bats, but the former Gold Glove winner made an impact with his glove at shortstop by robbing Eugenio Suarez of a hit with a leaping catch on a line drive in the top second.

For the Los Angeles Dodgers, Kim Hye-seong got the start against the Baltimore Orioles at second base and batted seventh, but was lifted for a pinch hitter in the fourth inning after striking out in the previous inning. The Dodgers lost the game 2-1.
