Korea's male curlers fell into losing streak

Korea’s male curlers fell into a third straight loss in their round robin sessions at the PyeongChang Winter Games, sinking to the bottom of the 10-team table.

At the Gangneung Curling Center, the team of Kim Chang-min, Seong Se-hyeon, Oh Eun-su and Lee Ki-bok suffered a 5-7 defeat against Norway after their unsuccessful comeback bid in the 10th end.

The two sides were squared off at 2-2 after four ends, but Norway scored two in the fifth and added two more in the eighth, while Korea managed to take one during the ends.

The Koreans narrowed the gap to 5-6 in the ninth, but allowed one more in the tenth.

With the loss, the Koreans sank to the bottom of the 10-team round robin, losing in all three games they played. Norway improved to 1-2 to sit at No. 6.

The Koreans will take on world No. 1 Canada tonight. The Canadians are leading the round robin with 3-0 overall.
