Listen

Lee Dae-ho of the Seattle Mariners enjoyed his first multihit game of the season Tuesday at home.

Batting eighth and playing first base, Lee went 2-for-4 against the Houston Astros at Safeco Field, as the Mariners came out on top 11-1.

Lee, signed on as backup to left-handed hitting veteran Adam Lind, is now batting .286 in 11 games.

Facing the reigning American League Cy Young Award winner Dallas Keuchel, Lee grounded out to second in his first at-bat in the bottom third. Then in the bottom fifth with one out and a man at first, Lee chopped a grounder to the hole between third and short. Houston shortstop Carlos Correa made the grab, but his throw to first was well off the mark.

Lee later came around to score on a bases-loaded single by Ketel Marte.

Lee led off the bottom seventh against Michael Feliz with a single up the middle. He scored for the second time on Robinson Cano's grand slam.

Also in the majors Tuesday, Park Byung-ho of the Minnesota Twins hit two doubles and scored twice in the team's 6-5 win over the Cleveland Indians at home.

Park, batting sixth as designated hitter, went 2-for-4 to raise his batting average to .236 at Target Field in Minneapolis. He led off the bottom second with a double to center off Cleveland starter Cody Anderson. Park came around to score on Kurt Suzuki's single.

Park hit another double off Anderson in the bottom fourth and again scored on a single by Suzuki. (Yonhap)
