In the opener of Ultimate Fighting Championship Fight Night Seoul, Kim Dong-hyun (B) suffered a third-round TKO against Dominique Steele (13-6-0).

In the first round of the preliminary welterweight fight, both Steele and Kim landed punches and kicks to each other in a close range battle, driving fans into a frenzy, but Steele was clearly dominant.

Though Kim fought hard in front of the home crowd rooting for him, he took many jabs and elbows from Steele.

Steele continued to pummel Kim in the second round with a barrage of punches and elbows, knocking him down on the mat several times. Though Kim made it through the round, he lasted less than a minute of the third round.

Just some 20 seconds into the third, Steele, landing some more brutal elbows and punches, knocked Kim to the mat one last time. Kim, whose head appeared to land squarely on the mat, couldn’t get his guard up to defend himself, and the fight was over.

The UFC Fight Night Seoul at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena is the first-ever live UFC event held in Korea.
