Lee, who won a bronze medal at the Incheon Asian Games kabaddi, plays for Kolkata-based Bengal Warriors in the Pro Kabaddi League in India. Lee garnered attention by clinching five MVP titles in a single competition and was recognized by Mahindra, who also is a co-founder of the League. “Cultural ties between India and Korea are being strengthened by young stars like Lee Jang-kun who is building bridges between India and Korea through his passion for Kabaddi,” said Mahindra in a statement.
